Apple is partnering with OpenAI, the developer of the generative artificial intelligence (AI) service 'ChatGPT,' to provide ChatGPT functionality on the iPhone.
On the 10th (local time), Apple announced at the annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) held in San Francisco that it has partnered with OpenAI to offer ChatGPT features through its voice assistant, Siri.
With this agreement, iPhone users will be able to use ChatGPT features for free starting at the end of the year.
Apple also unveiled its own AI system called 'Apple Intelligence.'
Apple CEO Tim Cook stated, "Apple's next move will be driven by generative AI and large language models (LLM)."
