Pearl Abyss Black Desert Receives Publishing License in China... "Preparing Service in Collaboration with Tencent"
Pearl Abyss's massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) 'Black Desert' has received a distribution license, known as a Pan-Ho, from China.
According to industry sources on the 5th, the National Press and Publication Administration of China issued foreign game licenses for 15 games, including Pearl Abyss's Black Desert. The Chinese government requires foreign games to obtain a Pan-Ho license to be allowed entry into the Chinese market.
Pearl Abyss previously signed a publishing agreement with Tencent. A Pearl Abyss representative stated, "We will work closely with Tencent to prepare for a successful service launch in China."
