Gyeonggi-do Agricultural, Livestock, and Fisheries Products Up to 30% 'Big Discount' Event... Until the 16th of This Month
Gyeonggi Province will hold the 'Gyeonggi Revitalization Big Sale' from the 6th to the 16th of this month at local food direct stores, Online Market Gyeonggi, Nonghyup Distribution Centers, and Hanaro Mart within the province.
This event is part of the Let's Go! project, a core initiative for restoring public livelihood that Gyeonggi Province has been promoting since May 17, amid ongoing high inflation, high interest rates, and low growth.
Gyeonggi Province will offer up to a 10% discount on 17 items including cucumber, lettuce, chili peppers, green onions, zucchini, blueberries, watermelon, cabbage, and eggs at 78 local food direct stores across the province.
At Online Market Gyeonggi, seasonal fruits preferred by consumers such as Korean melon and tomatoes will be discounted by 20-30%, and a live commerce event will be held to promote discounted sales of seasonal fruits.
Additionally, a joint promotional event will be held at six Nonghyup Distribution Centers and 146 Hanaro Marts within the province, offering discounts of 10-30% on over 20 major agricultural, livestock, and marine products including apples, watermelon, Korean melon, cucumber, beef, pork, mackerel, shrimp, and sesame oil.

Park Jong-il, Director of the Agricultural Food Distribution Division of Gyeonggi Province, stated, "Through this big sale, we aim to provide consumers with an opportunity to purchase Gyeonggi agricultural products at affordable prices and contribute to increasing farmers' incomes. We hope this will be of some help to the residents of the province during these difficult economic conditions caused by rising prices and economic downturn."
