T Scientific Wins Defense Broadband Integrated Network Construction Project... Accelerating AI Innovation
TScientific has established a new Defense SI (System Integration) business division and successfully secured its first project after acquiring a related business team. With the award of the Defense Broadband Integrated Network Construction Project as a starting point, the company plans to accelerate AI technology innovation in the defense sector.
According to TScientific on the 3rd, the Defense Business Headquarters won the contract for the Defense Broadband Integrated Network Construction Project. A company representative explained, “By acquiring a specialized team with existing expertise, diverse business experience, and technical capabilities, we minimized the risks of initial entry and were able to achieve immediate results.”
The newly established Defense Business Headquarters will undertake various defense SI projects, including the construction, operation, and maintenance of defense information systems.
The defense SI business is a closed sector with an annual scale of 300 billion to 500 billion KRW, requiring technical skills, business execution capabilities, and stability. Therefore, it is difficult for new entrants to enter, and the risks of initial entry are high.
A TScientific representative stated, “Along with the establishment of the Defense Business Headquarters, we successfully secured a project worth approximately 1.8 billion KRW,” adding, “We aim to secure additional contracts worth 10 billion KRW this year.”
