106% Increase Compared to Previous Month
As summer approaches, there is an active movement to find local experts for air conditioner installation, cleaning, and repair services. Karrot, a leading domestic local community platform, announced on the 31st that the number of users searching for neighborhood air conditioner service providers in April and May has noticeably increased.
From mid-April, the number of users searching for air conditioner installation, cleaning, and repair services increased by 106% compared to March. In the third week of May, the number of users searching for the same keywords rose by 53% compared to the previous week, marking the highest weekly search volume. This reflects the demand for reliable local experts nearby.
Connections between local businesses and residents are also becoming more active. The number of users visiting air conditioner-related business profiles in April increased by 54% compared to the previous month. The number of requests for quotes from neighborhood air conditioner service providers found on Karrot during April also rose by 265% compared to the previous month.
By searching for keywords including ‘air conditioner’ in the search bar at the top of Karrot’s home screen, users can easily view information about nearby local businesses. Users can also check benefits such as discounts or events offered by each business, and by entering simple information through the ‘Request a Quote’ button at the bottom of the business profile, they can receive service estimates. To enhance user convenience, Karrot plans to separately provide an ‘Air Conditioner Cleaning’ category within the ‘Near Me’ tab until June, which will gather and display information about local air conditioner service providers.
