Samsung Store Expands Electric Vehicle Charging Station Locations
Scheduled for new installation next month at Samsung Store Buk-Ulsan, Dong-Daejeon, and Changwon stores
5 additional stores to be introduced by the end of the year
Samsung Store announced on the 31st that it plans to expand its electric vehicle charger stores.
In January, Samsung Store installed 100kW fast chargers at 40 major Samsung Store locations nationwide. Due to high customer response, Samsung Store decided to newly install electric vehicle chargers at the ▲Buk Ulsan ▲Dong Daejeon ▲Changwon stores starting in June. They plan to add chargers to 5 more stores by the end of this year.
Samsung Store stated, "To provide convenience to more customers, we will continue to install chargers at stores not subject to mandatory legal installation."

The fast chargers installed at Samsung Store feature an 'Auto Charging Solution' that allows user authentication and payment immediately upon connecting the charger to the vehicle, enhancing convenience. Additionally, customers who subscribe to the electric vehicle charging membership service 'Lucky Pass' provided by SK E-Link can receive up to a 50% discount.

Besides introducing electric vehicle charging stations, Samsung Store plans to continue efforts for a sustainable future. In June, when purchasing two or more items simultaneously from TV, dryer, and washing machine along with a refrigerator at Samsung Store, an 'Energy Meter' for home electricity management will be installed. The 'Energy Meter' is an electronic power meter installed in the home distribution board and registered on the 'SmartThings' app, allowing real-time monitoring of electricity usage and helping reduce energy waste.
