Gyeonggi Province will conduct ‘Youth Substance Addiction Prevention Education.’
On the 31st, Gyeonggi Province announced that it will promote a youth substance addiction prevention project in collaboration with the ‘Gyeonggi Province Drug Eradication Movement Headquarters’ targeting related institutions such as out-of-school youth support centers, youth counseling and welfare centers, youth activity facilities, and juvenile detention centers within the province.
The program will be conducted as an empathetic theatrical prevention education rather than a lecture-style class. Gyeonggi Province will also run a ‘visiting prevention education’ program where experts visit institutions to conduct the sessions.
Applications for the education program will be accepted from 10 a.m. on June 3rd via the Gyeonggi Province Drug Eradication Movement Headquarters website (http://ggdrugfree.or.kr). The education will take place from June 24th to November 29th.
