Accompanying Children Taking Their First Lonely Steps... Corporation Launches Social Contribution Activities
The National Health Insurance Service (President: Jung Ki-seok) held a proclamation ceremony for its flagship social contribution project, "Haneulbanchanggo Kids," on April 30, and began its partnership with child welfare facilities nationwide from May, embarking on a journey with resident children.
On May 29, the National Health Insurance Service conducted a volunteer visit at the Sky Bandage Kids partnership facility, "Woorijipwon."

Each of the 178 branches nationwide forms an individual partnership with one child welfare facility and maintains continuous emotional connection through quarterly volunteer visits.
Accordingly, the Busan Ulsan Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters of the NHIS partnered with the child care facility "Urijibwon" in Dongnae-gu, Busan, and began its first activity on the 29th.
Urijibwon currently cares for about 40 children under the age of 18 without guardians. The NHIS visited the facility, provided camping chairs and table sets for experiential activities, snacks, and spent time with the children.
Going forward, the NHIS plans to support the facility in various ways, not only by providing necessary items such as books and clothing each quarter, but also by offering emotional support.
Choi Deokgeun, head of the regional headquarters, expressed his commitment by saying, "Through the health insurance social contribution project 'Haneulbanchanggo Kids,' we will accompany children as they take their loneliest first steps in the world through their childhood and adolescence. We will continue to communicate with the local community and always stand with the people, centering on our flagship social contribution projects."
