Samsung Welfare Foundation Conducts Special Lecture to Enhance Childcare Center Directors' Competencies

Conducting Noun Lectures and Real-Time Interactive Talks

On the 29th, Samsung Welfare Foundation announced that on the 4th of next month, it will hold a special lecture titled '2024 C&I (Culture & Insight) DAY for Childcare Workers Growing Together - The First Story' both online and offline through the Samsung Children's Education and Culture Center and Samsung e-Training Campus websites.

This special lecture is aimed at daycare center leaders, specifically directors. It will feature keynote speeches and real-time interactive talks on topics that enhance insight into rapidly changing times, respect for diversity, and empathy skills. Additionally, a live tour of the Leeum Museum of Art will provide a cultural experience opportunity.

The lecture will be conducted live with Q&A sessions under the themes of 'Future Society' and 'Diversity.' Writer Song Gil-young will present on the topic 'Era Forecast: How to Prepare for the Age of the Nuclear Individual,' explaining how every individual in the world should prepare for the future by understanding the rapidly changing era. Professor Jang Dae-ik, Chair Professor at Gachon University, will discuss 'Diversity, Empathy, and Happiness,' conveying the value of respecting diversity as a core driving force for leading future society.

Applications to participate in the lecture can be made through the Eventus website. On the day of the lecture, anyone can watch the live online broadcast by visiting the 'Samsung e-Training Campus' website.

Since 2022, the Samsung Welfare Foundation has been holding annual special lectures to support the capacity development and mental health of daycare center directors. So far, over 9,000 people have participated both online and offline. The foundation announced, "After conducting the first special lecture next month, an additional second lecture will be held in October."
