Lee In-seok (Judicial Research and Training Institute Class 27), the head of the YK Fair Trade Group, served as a judge at the Seoul Central District Court and Seoul High Court for 23 years and worked as a criminal review officer at the Court Administration Office. He also served as a writing committee member for fair trade judgment drafting practice and as an editorial committee member for the Court Practice Guide (Criminal).
The deputy head of the group is lawyer Jin Ho-sik (Judicial Research and Training Institute Class 34), a former chief prosecutor. Lawyer Jin is an expert in criminal and fair trade fields, having experience as a Fair Trade Commission officer, prosecutor, and lawyer.
In addition, a large number of experts in criminal and fair trade fields are positioned, including representative lawyer Kwon Soon-il, who oversees litigation, representative lawyer Kim Hak-hoon, who has over 20 years of experience in corporate advisory and M&A, as well as lawyers Park Jae-wan, Lee Sang-young, Kim Ji-hoon, Kwak No-ju, Kang Sang-woo, Lee Hye-rin, and Kim Hyun-joon.
Group head Lee In-seok stated, "Recently, the Fair Trade Commission is re-promoting the ‘Platform Fair Competition Promotion Act’ to prevent monopolies and oligopolies of large online platforms, and the trend of criminal sanctions on fair trade cases is strengthening, increasing the importance of fair trade cases. However, it has been true that companies have found it difficult to approach these issues until now. Based on a nationwide legal network, we plan to provide prompt and accurate legal services through the nearest branch office when companies unexpectedly face incidents."
