View original imageSeodaemun-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Seong-heon) announced on the 29th that it recently trained 12 affiliated public officials as ultralight aircraft (drone) pilots to strengthen safety inspections and disaster response capabilities. They completed drone pilot training at the Korea Aerospace University Flight Training Center, with one person obtaining a Class 2 license and 11 obtaining Class 3 licenses.
The training consisted of ▲theory for drone flight such as aviation regulations and flight operations ▲simulated flights using training simulators ▲and flight practice.
Mayor Lee Seong-heon said, “We expect that the certified employees will improve work efficiency in various fields such as wildfire prevention, safety inspections of aging buildings, and festival safety management by utilizing drones.”
