[Special Stock] Doosan Enerbility Hits 52-Week High on SMR Boost
Doosan Enerbility has been continuing its record-high rally after news broke that it will supply equipment for a small modular reactor (SMR) construction project by a U.S. nuclear power plant design company.
As of 9:50 a.m. on the 28th, Doosan Enerbility is trading on the KOSPI at 21,350 KRW, up 50 KRW (0.23%) from the previous close. The trading volume is 14.24 million shares, with a trading value of approximately 306.9 billion KRW.
The stock price started higher and rose to an intraday high of 22,000 KRW, setting a new 52-week high. This marks the fifth consecutive trading day of gains.
The parent company, Doosan, is also on the rise. Doosan is trading at 210,500 KRW, up 1.94%. Following an 8.86% increase the previous day, Doosan has risen for two consecutive trading days.

Yesterday’s media reports that Doosan Enerbility will supply reactors, steam generator tubes, and other equipment for the SMR construction project led by NuScale Power, the largest SMR design company in the U.S., appear to have stimulated investor sentiment.
