Tax Consultation Office Open Every Wednesday
Jongno-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Jeong Munheon) will hold a special tax-saving lecture titled “Pay Less by Knowing More” on the 3rd of next month from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM in the multipurpose room on the 3rd floor of the district office. This session is designed to provide easy-to-understand explanations from experts on the complex and challenging tax issues that everyone encounters at least once, as well as to suggest directions for tax savings.
The lecture will be conducted by tax accountant Hwang Seon-ui. He plans to share tax-saving strategies related to capital gains tax, comprehensive income tax, inheritance tax, and gift tax. Additionally, the National Tax Volunteers Association will offer individual tax consultations for participants.
This special lecture is open to all Jongno-gu residents and local business owners. Applications can be made through the district office website, by phone or in person at the Tax Management Division, or by adding Jongno-gu’s KakaoTalk as a friend and applying there. Meanwhile, from June to December this year, Jongno-gu will operate a “Free Tax Consultation Office” every Wednesday from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the district office’s Comprehensive Tax Civil Service Office for residents and business owners. Consultation topics include local taxes, national taxes, and more. Reservations can be made in advance through the district office website or the Tax Management Division.
In addition, Jongno-gu provides detailed guidance on various practical systems closely related to daily life, such as local taxes, local tax refunds, and taxpayer protection officers, through the “Comprehensive Tax” page on the district office website, offering convenience to residents.
