Schedule Coordination Underway for Korea-Japan Finance Ministers Meeting
Choi Sang-mok, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance, announced on the 27th that he is currently discussing the schedule for a visit to China and a Korea-Japan finance ministers' meeting as follow-up measures to the Korea-Japan-China summit.
At a press briefing held at the Government Complex Sejong in the afternoon, Minister Choi said, "We are coordinating the schedule following an invitation from the Chinese side, and I expect to visit China." He added, "I hope we can have further discussions, including on supply chains."
Minister Choi continued, "It has been agreed to hold the Korea-Japan finance ministers' meeting, and we are currently coordinating the schedule. If it proceeds, I think it would be good to hold it in our country."

He also said, "With the resumption of the Korea-Japan-China summit, there have been many ministerial and working-level meetings among related ministries. Upon reviewing each issue, there are some that had been at a deadlock, so we intend to thoroughly examine the parts related to the Ministry of Economy and Finance."
