Nowon District Mayor Oh Seung-rok Attends 'Changdong Vehicle Depot Area S-DBC Future Industry Hub Corporate Briefing'
Nowon-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Oh Seung-rok) attended the ‘Corporate Briefing Session for the Creation of the S-DBC Future Industry Hub in the Changdong Vehicle Depot Area’ held at Seoul City Hall at 3 PM on the 27th.
The ‘Changdong Vehicle Depot Area S-DBC (Seoul-Digital Bio City) Corporate Briefing Session’ focused on four key support measures to help resident companies grow, including ▲land supply and planning reflecting corporate demand and opinions ▲creation of long-term lease complexes ▲application of Seoul’s balanced development white site ▲construction of Seoul-style Lab Central, as well as detailed plans for development and public investment in mixed-use and corporate lands. The presentations were directly delivered by Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon and Kim Seung-won, Head of the Balanced Development Headquarters.
Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, began by saying, “I have traveled extensively both domestically and internationally to promote the creation of the bio complex.”

He continued, “The Changdong Vehicle Depot area, where the bio complex will be established, is seeing significant improvements in transportation infrastructure such as the GTX-C line, Dongbuk Light Rail Transit, and the undergrounding of the Dongbu arterial road. It also has the advantage of being an educational special zone with Junggye-dong, one of Seoul’s top three school districts. Moreover, it offers optimal conditions for young employees to raise children, with leisure and convenience facilities utilizing the pristine natural environment,” adding, “I hope many companies will move into the bio complex through active consideration.”
Finally, he said, “I would like to once again thank Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon for organizing today’s corporate briefing session, and I promise that Nowon-gu will actively cooperate with the Gangbuk Grand Renovation Project.”
