With Gyeongnam Nonghyup Director Cho Geunsu, Yangsan City Branch Manager Kim Wonmook, and cooperative heads of local agricultural and livestock cooperatives in attendance, they requested cooperation at the National Assembly level so that various pressing issues for the development of rural areas and farmers could be reflected in policy. These included the extension of the sunset period for tax reductions in the agricultural sector, expansion of government contributions to the Agricultural, Forestry and Fisheries Credit Guarantee Fund, and proposals to allow the use of local gift certificates at Nonghyup economic business sites.
Representative Yoon said, "As someone born and raised as a farmer's son, I am well aware of the issues facing rural communities and farmers," and added, "As a representative of farmers, I will carefully review the suggestions made today by the director and cooperative heads, and do my best to improve the quality of life for farmers."
