An anonymous donor who refused to reveal their identity left a shopping bag containing 20 million KRW in cash at a township office in Goesan-gun, Chungbuk, saying "Please use it for neighbors in need."
On the 23rd, Yonhap News reported that a middle-aged man left a shopping bag containing 2,000 bills of 10,000 KRW notes at the Buljeong Township Office in Goesan-gun, Chungbuk, the day before. A representative of the Buljeong Township Office said on the 23rd, "Yesterday, a middle-aged man left a shopping bag containing 2,000 bills of 10,000 KRW notes at the Resident Welfare Team and left," adding, "This donor, who steadfastly refused to reveal his identity, has left money several times in this way over the past four years."

Including this donation, the total amount donated by this man to the township office over seven occasions amounts to 110 million KRW. The Buljeong Township Office stated, "According to the donor's wishes, this money will be delivered to low-income residents and households in welfare blind spots."
Meanwhile, recently in Bucheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, an anonymous donor left a paper box containing about 20 million KRW in cash in front of the Administrative Welfare Center and disappeared.
On the 16th, Yonhap News reported that an unidentified paper box was found in front of the entrance of the Administrative Welfare Center in Simgok 1-dong, Wonmi-gu, Bucheon-si, Gyeonggi-do.
The box had a note that read, "It's not much, but I hope it will be used for families in difficulty." CCTV footage from the scene confirmed that around 7:06 a.m. that day, a man estimated to be in his 30s or 40s was seen leaving the box behind.
