Chungnam Province and Chungnam Police Agency Sign Agreement to Provide Laos Police Vehicles Free of Charge
Patrol cars that have been responsible for the safety of Chungnam residents will now run for the people of Laos.
Following the signing of a letter of intent for friendly exchange and cooperation with Vientiane Province, Laos, last year, the province decided to support patrol cars.
Governor Kim Tae-heum signed a business agreement on the 23rd with Oh Moon-gyo, Chief of Chungnam Police Agency, to promote the "Free Support of Police Vehicles to the Lao People's Democratic Republic," agreeing to lend 20 patrol cars and 5 motorcycles free of charge.
Although the patrol cars and motorcycles are in good operating condition, they have exceeded the legal usage period and will be newly refurbished before being delivered between July and September.
Previously, since last year, the province also delivered 32 ambulances that had exceeded their legal usage period to Laos.
