Ebest Investment & Securities expects DI to benefit from the localization of burn-in test equipment for HBM.
Researcher Cha Yong-ho of Ebest Investment & Securities explained, "The testing process is divided into wafer testing, which determines good products at the wafer stage, and packaging testing, which is the final inspection before shipment after packaging. DI's main products are wafer testing equipment."
He added, "According to separate standards, they supply to Samsung Electronics and its subsidiary Digital Frontier (DF), as well as SK Hynix. Major consolidated subsidiaries include DIC (semiconductor chambers), DI Materials (electronic components), V-Ten System, and Protek Corporation (secondary batteries)."
