Aston Martin Selects Deutsche Auto Subsidiary as New Importer in UK
Britannia Auto has been selected as the domestic importer of the British sports car Aston Martin, the company announced on the 22nd. Previously, Giheung International, which imports high-end foreign cars and bikes, was in charge, but this has now changed.
The new importer, Britannia Auto, is a subsidiary of Deutsche Automobil Group. Deutsche Automobil Group is known as a dealer of high-end brands with strong demand in Korea, including BMW, Mini, Land Rover, and Porsche. They also operate a used car business in Suwon and Busan. Aston Martin gained fame as the car driven by the protagonist James Bond in the 007 movie series.
Marking the 10th anniversary of its entry into the Korean market next year, the company said it plans to show a renewed image by forming a new partnership with the new importer. A new showroom, ‘Aston Martin Suwon,’ will be established at Deutsche Autoworld in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province.
Gregory Adams, head of Aston Martin’s Asia Pacific region, said, "We will strive to expand Aston Martin’s presence and touchpoints in the Korean market, the center of ultra-luxury, so that Korean consumers can experience the next generation of Aston Martin vehicles."
