The Small Business Owner Influencer Education Project is a specialized education program for small business owners, launched in 2020, aimed at enhancing their capabilities to enter the online market.
KT is running the program for approximately 900 small business owner trainees, starting from the 22nd of last month and continuing until the end of the year, combining online and face-to-face education. The face-to-face sessions are held at the KT Creator Factory Center in Dongjak-gu, Seoul, and at eight Sodam Square locations nationwide (Yeoksam, Sangam, Dangsan in Seoul; Busan; Daegu; Jeonju; Gwangju; Chuncheon). KT plans to continue the training nationwide, beginning with the first regional practical session held yesterday at Sodam Square in Busan.
In the Small Business Owner Influencer Education (Media Commerce course), KT provides practical training that allows small business owners to experience content planning, production, editing, and uploading, alongside theoretical education through e-learning. In addition to the regular curriculum, KT will offer special lectures sharing business know-how between small business owners and influencers, as well as briefing sessions by active platform product planners (MDs) for store entry.
Outstanding trainees will be selected to receive support for customized TV commercial production and broadcasting through KT Genie TV’s regional advertising service, "Genie TV Live AD+." Furthermore, KT will assist in entering the Chinese live commerce market with Wanghong (Chinese term for influencer) and produce short-form videos for product promotion.
Small business owners can apply for the education program on the sales channel information platform "Panpandaero Homepage."
