Gyeonggi-do Joint Safety Inspection of 28 Housing Development and Public Housing Districts
Gyeonggi Province will conduct a joint safety inspection with project implementers and private experts from the 22nd of this month to the 10th of next month at 28 housing development and public housing districts to prevent safety accidents in preparation for the rainy season and heat waves.
The inspection targets include seven housing development districts where construction is underway, such as Pyeongtaek Godeok Internationalization District, and 21 public housing districts, including Suwon Dangsujigu.
The main inspection items are ▲ status of flood prevention materials and equipment ▲ installation and management condition of drainage facilities ▲ instability of cut-and-fill slope sections ▲ installation of safety facilities to prevent falls and dropping accidents ▲ installation of worker rest facilities ▲ provision status of cold beverages and salt tablets.
Gyeonggi Province plans to have minor issues corrected or supplemented on-site based on the inspection results. In cases where there are concerns about safety accidents, improvement measures such as repairs and reinforcements will be prepared and implemented.
