The workplace 'gapjil' controversy involving Kang Hyung-wook, CEO of Bodeum Company, who is known as the 'Dog President,' has sparked backlash in the broadcasting industry.
A KBS official stated on the 20th, "Considering the controversy surrounding trainer Kang Hyung-wook, we have decided to cancel the broadcast of KBS 2TV's 'Dogs Are Incredible (Gaehulryung)' today and replace it with other programs."
At the usual airtime of 'Gaehulryung' at 8:55 PM, reruns of 'Walking into the World' and 'Paldo Bapsang' were aired. KBS has not yet decided whether to continue airing 'Gaehulryung' or to cancel it next week as well.
