[Invest&Law] Solutions to Protect Korean Companies' Rights Amid US-China Disputes... Yulchon Seminar Today
Yulchon LLC (Representative Attorney Kang Seok-hoon) will hold a seminar on the afternoon of the 22nd at the Korea International Trade Association in Trade Tower, Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, under the theme "Impact of the US-China Trade Dispute on Korean Companies and Legal Considerations."
Co-hosted by the Korea International Trade Association and Yulchon, this seminar is organized to closely examine the current status of the US-China trade dispute, the mutual economic sanctions and export control measures between the two countries, their impact on Korean companies, and the legal precautions that Korean companies should observe.
The first session will begin with a greeting from Advisor Lee Baek-soon, former Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Australia and Myanmar and former Director-General of the North American Affairs Bureau at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Following this, Attorney Shin Dong-chan (age 53, Judicial Research and Training Institute class 26), head of Yulchon's International Sanctions Team, will present on "The Current Status of US Export Controls and Economic Sanctions on China," and Attorney Kim Jeong-min (8th Bar Exam) from the China Team will present on "The Current Status of China's Export Controls and Economic Sanctions on the US."
A Yulchon representative stated, "We hope that this seminar, held at a time when US-China tensions are likely to intensify with the inauguration of Taiwan's President-elect Lai Ching-te, will help protect the rights and interests of our companies."
