Korean Standards Association Designated as Verification Agency for Carbon Disclosure Project Corporate Reports
The Korea Standards Association announced on the 20th that it has been selected as a corporate report verification body by the CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) Korea Committee and has launched the 'CDP Corporate Report' verification service.
CDP is a global climate change project conducted in 91 countries worldwide. As of last year, approximately 23,000 companies globally and 211 companies in Korea disclose their greenhouse gas emissions, risks and opportunities related to climate change, and carbon management strategies through CDP.
CDP corporate report verification refers to a systematic and documented process independently conducted by a verification body to ensure the reliability of the reported information. Through CDP verification, companies can promote improvements in internal data management processes, enhance risk management capabilities, increase trust among stakeholders, and secure potential to achieve sustainability goals.
