Burger King’s 'Real Onion Rings' Sold 1 Million, Outshining the 'New Whopper'
Renewed with Crispy Whole Onion Rings at 'Eoniyeonring'
"Sales Performance Reaches About 300% of Target"
Burger King recently announced on the 20th that the renewed ‘Real Onion Rings’ have sold over 1 million units in about 5 weeks.
Since April this year, Burger King has been celebrating its 40th anniversary in Korea by conducting the ‘Bulmat Project’ and renewing major menu items including the Whopper.
In particular, on the 15th of last month, the popular side menu ‘Onion Rings’ was renewed into Real Onion Rings, made by frying whole onions. The Real Onion Rings are cut into ring shapes without crushing the onions, resulting in a crispier texture and thicker size compared to before, as well as a rich flavor that allows customers to enjoy the sweetness of the onions, receiving favorable reviews.
