Porsche New Cayenne Hybrid Officially Launched in Korea
Maximum Output 470 Horsepower... 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 Seconds
Increased Battery Capacity and Reduced Charging Time
The new hybrid version of Porsche's flagship sports utility vehicle (SUV), the Cayenne, is set to be released.
Porsche Korea announced on the 16th that it will launch the new Cayenne E-Hybrid and E-Hybrid Coupe models.
The new Cayenne E-Hybrid and Cayenne E-Hybrid Coupe, equipped with a 6-cylinder engine, feature a new electric motor with an increased power output of 176 horsepower, up by 30 kW compared to previous models. The total output is 470 horsepower. Both models accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds. The top speed is 254 km/h.
Equipped with a high-voltage battery whose total capacity has increased from 17.9 kWh to 25.9 kWh, the vehicles can achieve pure electric driving up to 90 km based on the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) standard. Despite the increased battery capacity, charging time has been reduced to under 2 hours and 30 minutes.
The new adaptive air suspension, featuring 2-chamber and 2-valve technology, enhances driving precision and performance. Driving modes such as Normal, Sport, and Sport Plus are also available.
The instrument cluster features a curved standalone design with an optional variable display. The center console has been newly redesigned, and an optional passenger display can also be installed.
The exterior, including the headlights and hood, has been sharpened for a more aggressive look. Matrix LED headlights come as standard, while high-resolution HD matrix LED headlights are available as an option.
