Recruiting Participants for Health Walking in the First Half of the Year Until June... 30 Participants Per Session on a First-Come, First-Served Basis... Apply by Phone or Online
Gangbuk-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Soon-hee) is recruiting participants for the first half of the year in the "2024 Nillirimambo Dullegil Healthy Walking" program, a walking exercise with neighbors aimed at maintaining a healthy weight and preventing and managing chronic diseases.
The "Nillirimambo Dullegil Healthy Walking" program runs every Thursday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. until June. Participants walk on Gangbuk-gu’s scenic trails such as Opaesan, Buk Seoul Dream Forest, and Bukhansan Dullegil, receiving proper walking and stretching guidance from walking instructors while exercising together with neighbors.
The first half-year course schedule is as follows: ▲ May 2 - Opaesan Dullegil ▲ May 9 - Buk Seoul Dream Forest Dullegil ▲ May 16 - Bukhansan Footpath ▲ May 23 - Bukhansan Dullegil ▲ May 30 - Bukhansan Dullegil Section 3 ▲ June 13 - Uicheon ▲ June 20 - Bukhansan Experiential Forest Rest Area ▲ June 27 - Buk Seoul Dream Forest Dullegil.
Anyone aged 20 or older who is a resident of Gangbuk-gu or works in Gangbuk-gu can participate. Applications must be submitted by phone or online by 4 p.m. every Wednesday before the walking schedule. Each session accepts up to 30 participants on a first-come, first-served basis.
Meanwhile, the district operates four health centers located in Suyu, Mia, Ui, and Samyang to provide residents with easier access to chronic disease management. Those wishing to receive counseling should make a reservation in advance and visit between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. on weekdays.
