[Law Firm Now] Law Firm Sejong Recruits Robert Walter and Seongwoo Lim for Kwangjang International Arbitration Team
On the 14th, Law Firm Sejong announced that it has newly recruited Robert Wachter, a foreign attorney from Law Firm Kwangjang's International Arbitration Team, and Attorney Lim Sung-woo (Judicial Research and Training Institute Class 18) to further strengthen its international arbitration capabilities.

Foreign attorney Robert Wachter is expected to co-lead the Sejong International Arbitration Group alongside Attorney Park Young-seok (Judicial Research and Training Institute Class 34). He is known as an international arbitration expert who served as the head of the international arbitration team at Kwangjang for about 10 years. He has acted as counsel or arbitrator in over 100 international arbitration cases conducted by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Korean Commercial Arbitration Board (KCAB), Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), and others.
Attorney Lim Sung-woo is regarded as an expert in international dispute resolution, having handled hundreds of major international disputes across various industries. He was uniquely selected as the inaugural standing member of the SIAC Arbitration Court among domestic international arbitration experts.
The Sejong International Arbitration Group is led by Attorney Park Young-seok, who joined Sejong in September last year. He has over 19 years of experience in international disputes and international litigation across various jurisdictions, having worked at Kim & Chang, KL Partners, and others. He also serves as an arbitrator for KCAB and as vice president of the Korean Council for International Arbitration (KOCIA).

In March, Sejong also strengthened its team by recruiting foreign attorney Bang Hyung-sik from Law Firm Taepyungyang. Having worked in international arbitration in Singapore for about 10 years, Attorney Bang has built expertise in international construction projects, shipbuilding, and post-M&A fields. He is one of the Korean representatives on the SIAC Young Singapore International Arbitration Centre Council (YSIAC Council), actively contributing to the development of arbitration practices and training of practitioners.
