Gyeonggi-do to Train Semiconductor Process and Equipment Personnel... Education Starts June 24
Gyeonggi Province and the Korea Nano Technology Institute are recruiting 28 participants for this year's semiconductor process and equipment training program until the 26th of this month.
The "Nano Technology Workforce Development Project," implemented by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and supported by Gyeonggi Province, aims to provide quality jobs for young people and cultivate on-site technical personnel needed by small and medium-sized enterprises.
Since its inception in 2013, the training program has produced more than 640 semiconductor technology professionals. Over 90% of them (577 people) have been employed by related mid-sized and small enterprises.
The training will be conducted over 6 weeks, totaling 200 hours, from June 24 to August 1.
The main training content includes ▲ Introduction to Nanotechnology ▲ Semiconductor Materials and Process Technology ▲ Equipment Operation and Maintenance ▲ Quality Control and Experimentation, providing in-depth theoretical education on nanotechnology and semiconductor process technology as well as practical experience in semiconductor manufacturing processes.
The training is completely free of charge, and necessary expenses during the training period are also supported. Outstanding students will receive commendations from the Governor of Gyeonggi Province and the President of the Korea Nano Technology Institute, and all graduates will be given employment support benefits at semiconductor manufacturers and outsourced semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) companies.
