Patagonia Visits Toss Bank Headquarters to Discuss 'Sustainable Economic System'
Kim Kwang-hyun, Head of the Environment Team at Patagonia Korea, is visiting Toss Bank and explaining to the employees the values pursued by Patagonia and the aspirations to move forward together as a B Corp.

According to Toss Bank on the 13th, Kim Kwang-hyun, head of Patagonia Korea's environmental team, recently gave a lecture to about 150 Toss Bank employees on the values of B Corp and the Patagonia spirit.
Patagonia is known as a clothing company with the slogan "Don’t buy this jacket" to promote environmental awareness. Kim, who leads Patagonia's environmental team, stated that they are actively addressing environmental issues through environmental campaigns, supporting environmental organizations, and collaborating with companies. The company donates 1% of its sales to environmental organizations. So far, Patagonia Korea has provided a total of 2.9 billion KRW in support. They also collaborated with Samsung Electronics to develop washing machine filters to reduce microplastics.
Kim urged Toss Bank, saying, "I hope you create more value for our society and the world beyond the financial sector."

Toss Bank is the first domestic bank to obtain B Corp certification and the second bank in Asia to receive this certification. B Corp certification is a global certification awarded to companies that achieve sustainable social performance. A Toss Bank official said, "We will actively fulfill our responsibilities to create a better society and sustainable economic system," adding, "We plan to demonstrate tangible changes together with various members of B Corp."
