Guro-gu Family Center will hold an intercultural festival on the 18th from 12 PM to 5 PM at Sindorim Opera House and Sindorim Techno Neighborhood Park (Exits 2, 3, and 4 of Sindorim Station).
Every year on May 20th, World Day for Cultural Diversity, the festival is held under the theme "Peace and Coexistence Begin with the Intercultural City of Guro" to create a space for local residents and foreign residents to understand and communicate with each other's cultures.
At the main stage in Sindorim Opera House, the festival will open with a musical, face-changing performance (Byeon-gyeom), and magic show. After the World Day ceremony, Brazilian percussion performances and gala dances will raise the festival's excitement.
Also, surrounding the Opera House, Sindorim Techno Neighborhood Park will operate intercultural experience booths and an intercultural playground where visitors can experience various cultures through making traditional costume keychains, traditional musical instruments, costumes, and more from around the world.
Additionally, world culture photo zones and food trucks will be placed throughout the area to provide plenty of enjoyment.
