Catch Netflix... Disney and Warner Bros Collaborate on 'Bundle Package'
On the 8th (local time), CNBC reported that American content giants The Walt Disney Company and Warner Bros. Discovery are joining forces in the streaming business sector to launch a bundle product.
Subscribers to the bundle product will be able to watch content from Disney's online video platforms (OTT) Disney+, Hulu, and Warner Bros.' OTT Max together.
The bundle plan is scheduled to launch this summer and will offer both ad-supported and standard subscription options. The price has not yet been disclosed. According to CNBC sources, it will be offered at a discounted price compared to subscribing to each service separately.
The bundle plan will be distributed and subscription fees collected by Disney, with a certain percentage of the revenue shared with Warner Bros.
Earlier, Disney, Warner Bros., ESPN, and Fox announced that they will jointly launch a sports streaming service this fall. The global streaming market, dominated by Netflix, is already saturated, leading to fierce competition. As a result, latecomers are forming alliances.
