Before the volunteer activity, Governor Park pinned carnations on the chests of the elderly visiting the welfare center and delivered 100 sets of Warmth Sharing Kits, which included frequently used medicines such as patches and ointments, to Naeseo Comprehensive Social Welfare Center.
This event was a meal service volunteer activity prepared to offer a warm bowl of rice to marginalized neighbors. About 30 people, including Governor Park, female leader volunteers, youth volunteers, and university student volunteers from the Gyeongsangnam-do Volunteer Center, participated, and around 300 residents, including elderly living alone, people with disabilities, single-parent families, and multicultural families, visited the site.
To commemorate the day, local companies SeAH Special Steel provided Warmth Sharing Kits, NH Nonghyup Bank Gyeongnam Headquarters donated 350 towels, and BMK Gyeongnam Bank prepared 350 toothbrush sets as gifts for the elderly.
