70-Year-Old Man Arrested and Sent to Prosecution for Killing Wife with Blunt Object During Argument
A man in his 70s who killed his wife by swinging a blunt weapon during an argument has been handed over to the prosecution.
On the morning of the 8th, the Seongdong Police Station in Seoul sent Mr. A, in his 70s, to the prosecution in custody on suspicion of murder.
Mr. A is accused of hitting his wife, Ms. B, with a blunt weapon during an argument at an apartment in Eungbong-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, around 9 p.m. on the 29th of last month.
Ms. B was taken to a nearby hospital but ultimately passed away. The police responded to a report from a neighbor who heard "sounds of something being smashed" and arrested Mr. A at the scene.
