Gyeongnam Nonghyup Holds Regular General Meeting of Gyeongnam Council for Joint Compost Manufacturing Plant Operation
On the 7th, Gyeongnam Nonghyup held the '2024 Joint Compost Manufacturing Plant Operation Gyeongnam Council Regular General Meeting' at the Nonghyup Gyeongnam Headquarters conference room. The meeting was attended by eight heads of agricultural and livestock cooperatives operating joint compost manufacturing plants in the region.
At the general meeting, the 2023 business settlement report, the 2024 business plan (draft), and the agenda for revising the council's name were approved. Key initiatives from 2023, plans for 2024, and urgent issues related to the revision of the Enforcement Rules of the Air Environment Conservation Act were also discussed.

Council Chairman Kang Seon-wook said, “Although the difficulties in operating compost manufacturing plants are increasing due to cost burdens such as the mandatory installation of emission reduction facilities, since this is a public interest project, let us all work together to protect the environment and strive harder to produce high-quality compost.”
