Netmarble Also Forms Labor Union... "Forced Resignation with One Month's Severance Pay"
A labor union has been established at Netmarble.
The National Union of Chemical, Textile, and Food Industry Workers Netmarble Branch officially announced the establishment of the union on the 7th.
The branch explained the background of the establishment, saying, "The number of employees has decreased by hundreds within two years. Amid subsidiary closures and encouraged resignations, employees were pressured to leave with only about one month's severance pay," and added, "We established the union to change the reality where such unfairness was not even noticed."
The branch emphasized, "Employee welfare is neglected compared to excessive marketing expenses, and it is very difficult to work for a long period," and stated, "Incentive policies, salary increase rates, profits?everything must be transparently disclosed and fairly decided."
They also addressed fellow employees, saying, "Now is the time to raise your voice," and "We will strive to create a company that respects workers' human rights and dignity."
