The event, which will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., is the first of its kind this year, organized by the Bangbaebon-dong Community Service Center (Director Jeong Woo-sun) and Caritas Bangbae Comprehensive Social Welfare Center in celebration of May Family Month. At the "Children's ECO Flea Market," 30 families with children who applied in advance will sell various children's items such as stationery, toys, books, and clothing. Participants will donate a portion of the proceeds from the flea market. The donations will be used to support low-income youth projects in Bangbaebon-dong.
The "Experience Playground" will operate a total of 15 experience booths with participation from youth groups and welfare institution community groups. Various programs are prepared, including ▲ making sea glass keyrings ▲ making water drop-shaped soap ▲ making eco-friendly bags ▲ caring for carbon-zero companion plants. An eco stamp will be issued, and those who collect stamps from 7 of the experience playground booths will receive a souvenir.
Cultural performances will also be abundant, including sales of donated items by local figures, a children's art exhibition, a performance by the children's choir "iPop Singers," and an acoustic band "Dalgeum Band" composed of young artists. The event is open to all residents.
