Ozone Advisory Lifted in 12 Districts of Seoul
Lifted as of 7 PM
The ozone advisory issued for 12 districts in the southeastern and northeastern areas of Seoul has been lifted.
On the 4th, the Ministry of Environment and the Korea Environment Corporation announced that the ozone advisory was lifted at 7 p.m. that day.
The affected districts are Gangnam-gu, Seocho-gu, Songpa-gu, Gangdong-gu, Gwangjin-gu, Seongdong-gu, Jungnang-gu, Dongdaemun-gu, Seongbuk-gu, Dobong-gu, Gangbuk-gu, and Nowon-gu.
The hourly average ozone concentration in the lifted areas as of 7 p.m. was 0.1149 ppm (parts per million) in the southeastern area and 0.1120 ppm in the northeastern area.

An ozone advisory is issued when the 1-hour average ozone (O₃) concentration in the air reaches 0.12 ppm or higher. An ozone warning is issued at 0.30 ppm or higher, and an ozone severe warning is issued at 0.50 ppm or higher.
