Dongmyeong University Launches Support for 'Small Business Owners' Digital Capability Enhancement'
Selection of 127, Specialized Curriculum-Based Digital Professional Training
Experiential university Dongmyeong University (President Jeon Ho-hwan) has selected 127 participants, including 107 local small business owners and 20 prospective entrepreneurs, to operate the ‘Small Business Digital Competency Enhancement and Expert Training Course.’
This course is operated with 15 hours of theoretical education on ‘Customized Solution-Based Digital Transformation’ developed independently by Dongmyeong University for small business owners, and 55 hours of practical training. During the intensive period, the university provides mentoring and 500,000 KRW for sales practice expenses, actively supporting all processes related to online transition.
The Dongmyeong University Small Business Digital Support Team (PM Dean Tae Dong-suk) started the ‘Small Business Digital Specialized University’ opening ceremony on the 1st and will operate the course every Monday until July 31.
Dean Tae said, “Although online expansion has been actively progressing since COVID-19, small business owners are still facing difficulties in online marketing such as market development,” adding, “We will provide systematic and professional education to small business owners and prospective entrepreneurs to build confidence in pioneering the online market as well as laying the foundation for successful startups.”

Dongmyeong University was recently selected for the second consecutive year as the ‘2024 Small Business Digital Specialized University Project Operating Institution’ hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Small Enterprise and Market Service.
Dongmyung University holds the opening ceremony for the 'Small Business Online Specialized University' and begins full-scale operation.
