Emart Changwon Branch Donates Love Supplies to Seongsan-gu, Changwon Special City
In Celebration of Family Month, Support with Carnations, Soy Milk, and Seaweed for Low-Income Seniors
Seongsan-gu, Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, announced on the 3rd that it supported love goods worth 2 million won at E-Mart Changwon Branch.
This donation was made to help low-income elderly people in need during Family Month by sponsoring carnations, soy milk, seaweed, and masks, and will be provided to 50 vulnerable elderly households in the district to deliver warm hearts.
Store Manager Baek Seung-ju said, "We donated goods with the hope that low-income elderly people who are easily isolated would have a warm and heartwarming Family Month," adding, "We will continue to strive to coexist with the local community through various support projects for vulnerable groups."
Social Welfare Director Shin Mi-kyung said, "We would like to express our gratitude to E-Mart Changwon Branch for practicing warm sharing during Family Month. The sponsored goods will be delivered with care to low-income elderly people."
