A man in his 20s, an office worker, arrested for selling and advertising child sexual exploitation material online
The Chungnam Provincial Police Agency announced on the 2nd that they have arrested a man in his 20s (office worker) who sold and advertised child and adolescent sexual exploitation materials on the SNS platform X (formerly Twitter), and seized approximately 19,000 items (2TB worth) of child and adolescent sexual exploitation materials stored on external hard drives and other devices.
According to the police, Mr. A is suspected of downloading child and adolescent sexual exploitation materials from the internet in June 2022 and posting sales advertisements on his SNS account in January of this year.
The police are also investigating individuals who purchased child and adolescent sexual exploitation materials from Mr. A.

Additionally, after conducting forensic analysis on the seized electronic data, measures will be taken to delete and block the distribution of child and adolescent sexual exploitation materials, and criminal proceeds will be confiscated and preserved.
