This project aims to create a Daehak-ro concept cultural street where youth and university students can exchange and enjoy culture around Yonsei University International Campus and Incheon Global Campus within Songdo International City. As part of the pilot project, Songdo International Complex will directly develop commercial land (C1, C2 blocks) located between the campus town and Yonsei University in the first phase, linking it with public spaces (landscape green areas).
The Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority plans to carry out a service this year to establish a master plan for the cultural street and will collaborate with each university to specify the project plan. The universities are conducting assignments on the theme of cultural street creation through some field practice (capstone design), and the ideas proposed by students will be actively reflected in creating the cultural street.
Additionally, Songdo International Complex, which is developing the commercial land, plans to launch a project contest in the first half of this year to promote the project in connection with the cultural street.
