Jangseong-gun Accepting Applications for Emission Reduction Device Installation Support Project Until Next Month 3rd

Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 30th that it will accept applications for the 'Vehicle Emission Reduction Device Installation Support Project' until the 3rd of next month.

The county plans to invest 99 million KRW in the project to support 30 units, and the number of supported vehicles can be adjusted within the budget range.

The support targets diesel vehicles with emission grade 5 whose registered base of use is in the county as of the announcement date, April 23 of this year, and must have no outstanding local taxes, non-tax revenue, or environmental improvement charges.

Vehicles that have already received government support for installing emission reduction devices or have been modified with low-emission engines are not eligible for support.

Depending on the size of the device?small, medium, or large?approximately 2.8 million to 6.5 million KRW per vehicle will be supported, with a 10% self-payment required.

Priority for selection will be given to ▲ livelihood vehicles ▲ commercial vehicles ▲ vehicles with a total weight of 3.5 tons or more, and support will be provided in order of the newest vehicle model year, considering the mandatory operation period of two years.

Applications can be submitted online, by visit, or by mail. For in-person applications, the owner must bring the vehicle registration certificate. Individuals should bring their ID card, and corporations should bring their business registration certificate or corporate registration copy, along with the representative’s ID card, to visit the Jangseong-gun Environmental Division.
