Busan Port Authority Donates 10 Million Won to 'New Life for Children' Sponsorship
Continuing Social Contributions Supporting Children with Incurable Diseases for 15 Years
Busan Port Authority (BPA) donated 10 million KRW to the “New Life for Children” fundraising campaign through the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation to support the health recovery of children with intractable diseases.
“New Life for Children” is a fundraising broadcast conducted by MBC in partnership with the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation to help children battling illnesses such as pediatric cancer and heart disease.
Since 2010, BPA has been donating funds for 15 years to support the health recovery of children with intractable diseases.
In addition, BPA supports sponsored children through a matching grant system where the company matches employee donations, and helps children from disadvantaged families grow healthily through the “Green Umbrella i-Leader Project,” which supports academically outstanding students from low-income households.
