Suncheon City, 10% Special Discount on Suncheon Love Gift Certificates for Family Month
Sales Start from May 1
Suncheon City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Noh Gwan-gyu) announced that from May 1st to the end of May, a special 10% discount sale on the Suncheon Love Gift Certificate will be held in celebration of Family Month.
The city will operate a special discount event with a 10% discount rate, doubled from the 5% discount rate conducted from March to April, to ease the financial burden on citizens and revitalize the local economy.
Paper-type gift certificates can be purchased at 48 branches of five banks including NongHyup Bank, Suncheon NongHyup, Livestock Cooperative, Won Cooperative, and Nak Cooperative, while mobile-type (card or QR) can be charged through the ‘Local Gift Certificate Chak(chak)’ app. In addition, the purchase limit per person is up to 500,000 KRW per month, combining both paper and mobile types.
A city official said, “We hope that visitors traveling to Suncheon to celebrate the opening of Suncheonman National Garden and Family Month will have a pleasant time through this special discount.” He added, “We expect this to create a virtuous cycle effect on the local economy, including helping the household economy of local residents.”
