Police Conduct Search and Seizure at Goryeo Pharmaceutical on Charges of Illegal Rebates
The police have launched a compulsory investigation into Koryo Pharmaceutical on suspicion of providing illegal rebates to doctors.
The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Metropolitan Investigation Unit and Criminal Mobile Squad have been conducting a search and seizure at Koryo Pharmaceutical's headquarters in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, since 9 a.m. on the 29th.
The police suspect that Koryo Pharmaceutical's CEO and employees provided illegal rebates in exchange for doctors at general hospitals prescribing their drugs, violating the Pharmaceutical Affairs Act, and are investigating the specific scale of the rebates.
