‘Low Birthrate Donation’, Samhan Ssiwon Donates 30 Million KRW and Cheogajip Yangnyeom Chicken 10 Million KRW to Gyeongbuk Province
Gyeongbuk Province announced on the 26th that donations for the "War Against Low Birthrate" continue to be made by companies in the Gyeongbuk region.
Cheogajip Yangnyeom Chicken Daegu·Gyeongbuk Branch, a dining company located in Chilgok, donated 10 million KRW, and Samhan Siwon, a company producing loess (clay) bricks, donated 30 million KRW through the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea to Gyeongbuk Province, requesting the funds be used to overcome the low birthrate.

Park Seunghwan, CEO of Cheogajip Yangnyeom Chicken Daegu·Gyeongbuk Branch, said, "I hope this will contribute even a little to winning the war against the low birthrate," adding, "As a businessperson, I feel rewarded to be able to participate, albeit modestly, in overcoming the low birthrate."
Samhan Siwon, founded in 1978, is a company that produces construction and paving bricks using loess as the raw material. It introduced advanced European technology and a computer-integrated automation system to produce eco-friendly bricks made from 100% soil. It was designated as a Gyeongbuk Pride Company in 2007.
Han Seungyun, CEO of Samhan Siwon, said, "We empathize with the serious low birthrate issue and hope to be a small help in overcoming the low birthrate problem in the local community."
Samhan Siwon also participated in the donation for overcoming the low birthrate by the Gyeongbuk Pride Company CEO Association on the 11th.

Gyeongbuk Province declared a war against the low birthrate and has been promoting the "Donation Campaign of 10,000 KRW or More by All Citizens" since last month to raise awareness and encourage participation in overcoming the low birthrate problem. The donations will be used for projects to overcome the low birthrate.
