Korea SMEs and Startups Agency Holds 'Vietnam Quang Tri Province Business and Investment Seminar'
The Korea Federation of SMEs announced on the 26th that it held the 'Vietnam Quang Tri Province Business and Investment Seminar' together with Quang Tri Province, Vietnam, and the Embassy of Vietnam in Korea. This seminar was planned to take advantage of the visit of the Quang Tri Province delegation to Korea, aiming to enhance our companies' understanding of Quang Tri's investment environment and industrial base, and to provide an opportunity for communication between Quang Tri government officials and our businesspeople.
The seminar covered topics such as local entry strategies for Quang Tri, introductions to economic zones and industrial complexes, and examples of local market entry. Quang Tri Province has an industrial base consisting of two economic zones, including the Dong Nam Economic Zone and Quang Tri Industrial Complex, five industrial complexes, and 21 industrial clusters. The development of a joint economic zone bordering Laos is also actively underway. Additionally, various domestic institutions and companies in Korea are striving for cooperation with the local area in fields such as energy and manufacturing.

Choo Moon-gap, Head of the Economic Policy Division at the Korea Federation of SMEs, stated, “Since the establishment of diplomatic relations, active economic exchanges have taken place between Korea and Vietnam, and there are still many opportunities for cooperation between the two countries.” He added, “We hope that Quang Tri Province will actively support our companies so that they can conduct business smoothly on site.”
