Gyeonggi Tourism Organization Announces 'Tourism Photo Contest' Until October
Gyeonggi Province is holding a tourism photo contest to discover hidden tourist attractions within the province.
The Gyeonggi Tourism Organization announced on the 26th that it will hold a photo contest from April 29 to October 28, featuring photos that capture the appearance and characteristics of various types of tourism resources such as festivals, tourist attractions, natural scenery, cultural facilities, and cultural experience sites, to promote the province's excellent tourism resources and uncover hidden spots.
In particular, to foster a pet-friendly tourism culture, the contest will also accept photo entries featuring pets accompanied by their owners, as well as photos related to wellness tourism and night tourism, which have become popular tourism trends.
The contest is open to both domestic and international participants, and the photos must have been taken after January 1 of last year and not previously published. Each participant can submit up to five entries.
After receiving submissions, the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization will select a total of 170 works through judging, awarding a grand prize (1 entry, 1,000,000 KRW), excellence awards (2 entries, 500,000 KRW each), special selections (5 entries, 300,000 KRW each), and honorable mentions (162 entries, 100,000 KRW each), with a total prize money of 19,700,000 KRW.
